As president of Kipling Jones & Co., Ms. Jones brings more than 25 years experience in the investment banking arena. She is responsible for directing the firm’s brokerage, financial advisory, and underwriting services to its clients.
Ms. Jones has played an integral role in structuring large transactions, such as a $3 billion Water and Sewer transaction for the City of Houston, which financed infrastructure improvements. Ms. Jones has also served as a banker on numerous small to mid-size transactions, which helped spur housing and other economic development initiatives.
Her experience has included transportation finance, parking system revenue bonds, hotel and convention centers, water and sewer systems, and other general infrastructure projects. Among her clients have been numerous large municipalities, state level issuers, higher education and health care providers.
As placement agent or underwriter, Ms. Jones has structured numerous housing related financings for clients such as the Fort Bend County (Texas) Housing Finance Corporation, the Texas Departmtnt of Housing and Community Affairs and the Housing Authority of the City of Durham, N.C. She previously served as Deputy County Treasurer for Galveston County, Texas.
Ms. Jones has also served the Texas Public Finance Authority, the City of Houston, numerous institutions of higher learning, and several Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones as Financial Advisor.
Robbi holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Milsaps College.
Ms. Jones has also undertaken post graduate studies at the London School of Economics.
